About

Hi! I'm Kira, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker who is licensed in Massachusetts, Indiana and Colorado. My practice is physically located in Massachusetts. I primarily work with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and life changes. My approach is empathic, authentic, and honest. We’ll laugh together, we’ll cry together, we’ll drop some well timed f bombs if needed, and we’ll make progress.

It is my belief that therapists cannot be effective in their roles if they are not willing to sit in the client's seat themselves. I personally began my journey with therapy over 10 years ago and can confidently say that the support and challenges I encountered during my self-work have been instrumental in shaping the person and therapist that I am today.

Throughout my adulthood, I have lived in a number of different places, most recently relocating to the Boston area from South Bend, Indiana via Denver, CO. I am grateful to have experienced different ways of life, cultures and perspectives, and strive to bring diversity into my clinical practice. I am LGBTQIA+ friendly and constantly work to examine how my own privilege is showing up in all spaces and capacities.
